


Mumbai Street Style Tawa Pulao
๐ Another quick and easy rice dish. When ur really in a hurry to make a hot and spicy rice dish,๐definitely you can option for this. Yummy yummy Tava Pulao. if you have leftover rice, or make some fresh rice.If you are tempting for this superb street food of Mumbai.
๐๐Ingredients
2 cups Basmati rice or long grained rice
3-1/2 cups of water ๐๐ฆ
4 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter 6-8 cashew nut
1 medium chopped capsicum
2 Slice onions
1 medium carrot
1/4 cup green peas
1/4 cup cooked corn
1/4 cup beans
2 chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp ginger, garlic paste
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp kashmiri red chili powder
2 tbsp pav bhaji masala powder
1/2 Garam masala power
Handfull โ of chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt as required

Cooking Rice For Tava Pulao๐๐
Wash & Soak the rice in enough water for 20 mins. Drain & cook the rice in cooker adding salt & few drops of oil , Dont over cook the riceโฆ pressure cook for 2 -3 whistles.
In a kadai add oil & melt the butter. Few cashew nuts saute 2 mins add the finely chopped onions and saute. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw aroma goes away. Add all chopped veggies like ๐ beans, carrot, peas & cooked corn ๐ฝ Then add the finely chopped tomatoes & capsicum stir fry for few mins. add all the spice masala powders like ๐ Kashmiri red chili powder, pav bhaji masala powder & garam masala .Stir again and saute the whole mixture till you see oil & butter zoom out releasing from the sides. Add salt to taste. Add the cooked basmati rice and gently mix . Add few drops lemon juice. mix the veggies with the rice & cover and cook n for 2-5mins. Garnish with coriander leaves. Mumbai Street Style Tawa Pulao is ready to serve.
Serve tava pulao hot with Any choice of raita. ๐๐ค
