💁Ingredients for Tawa Aloo Masala Fry
3 medium potatoes
2-3 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp chaat masala powder
Salt to taste
💁👇Ingredients For Tawa Pulao
2 cups jeera rice or long grained rice
3-1/2 cups of water 🌊💦
4 tbsp oil
1/4 tbsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp butter 🧈
1 medium chopped capsicum
3 Slice onions
1 medium grated carrot
2 chopped tomatoes
2-3 slit Green chillies
1 tbsp ginger, garlic paste or crushed
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp kashmiri red chili powder
2 tbsp pav bhaji masala powder
1/2 Garam masala power
Handfull ✊ of chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp lemon 🍋 juice
salt as required

A Boil the potatoes with their skin pressure cook the potatoes for 2 whistles. Once the potatoes cool down, peel the potatoes and cut them into length or cubes.
Heat 2 -3 tbsp oil in a tawa Add the boiled potato fry it nice for 5-8 mins…now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and chaat masala powder & salt Mix well. Fry the potatoes on a 👉medium-low flame. Keep stirring once the potatoes turn brown, remove from heat keep aside.
Cooking Rice For Tawa Pulao💁
Wash & Soak the rice in enough water for 10 mins. Drain & cook the rice in cooker adding salt & few drops of oil , Dont over cook the rice 🍚 pressure cook for 2 -3 whistles.
In a kadai add oil & melt the butter. Add mustard seeds the finely chopped onions and saute. Add the ginger garlic and slit green chillies saute till the raw aroma goes away. Add all chopped wt ever veggies you likes 💁 Then add the finely chopped tomatoes & capsicum stir fry for few mins. add all the spice masala powders like 💁 Kashmiri red chili powder, pav bhaji masala powder & garam masala .Stir again and saute the whole mixture till you see oil & butter zoom out releasing from the sides .
Add the cooked jeera rice and salt to taste gently mix . Add few drops lemon juice. mix the veggies with the rice & at this stage add fried potatoes 🍟cover and cook for 2-5mins. Garnish with coriander leaves &🍟 fried potatoes. Mumbai Street Style Tawa Pulao is ready to serve.
