


Raw Papaya Stir Fry / Upkari
🤗💁Health benefits of Raw papaya.. It renders benefits in cases of intestinal irritation and excessive mucus in stomach. Soothes inflammation green papaya has anti-inflammatory properties for benefitting patients of asthma, osteoarthritis, gout and rheumatoid arthritis. It also has vitamin a that decreases lungs’ inflammation in smokers.
💁Ingredients For Tempering
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
1/2 tbsp urad dal
1/2 tbsp Chana dal
1sprigs curry leaves
1 medium size raw papaya
1/4 tbsp turmeric power
salt to taste & some chopped coriander leaves
For Ground masala Paste
1/4 freshly grated 🥥 coconut
1 /2 tbsp cumin seeds
4-5 garlic cloves garlic 🧄
1/2 Inch Ginger
3 Byadgi red chillies +2 Guntur chillies
🤏Small pieces of jaggery
Salt to taste
💁Method
Wash n peel of d skin of Raw Papaya and cut into medium strips.
In a mixie jar add grated coconut along with cumin seeds, Ginger, garlic, 3 Byadgi red chillies +2 Guntur chillies, small pieces of jaggery & salt to taste 💁Don’t grind it fine .It should remain be 🤌 coarsely crushed paste.
Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds when splutter add Chana dal, urad dal,curry leaves, saute for few mins. add raw papaya & turmeric saute on low flame for 8-10 mins close the lid and cook it. add coarse masala paste mix all very well.
💁Do not add water.the raw papaya releases its 💁moisture and that is sufficient enough to get the veggie cooked in this way it doesn’t get stick to the bottom or burnt. 👉If required just sprinkle little water .And finally garnish it with coriander leaves.
Ready to Serve…This Raw Papaya Stir Fry / Upkari Flavorful Bhaji / Palya With Chapati or Dal 🍚 Rice.
