


Beetroot Kurma /Currry With Hot Hot Chapathi
Beetroot Kurma is a nutrient side dish or curry made with the goodness of beetroot cooked together in an aromatic spicy kurma masala made of coconut based and other spices.
๐๐Ingredients
1/2kg – 1 cup beetroot chopped into small cubes
1 cup coconut
10 -12 Dry whole red chillies
1 ๐ Grapes Size Tamarind
4 -6 garlic covers
1 tsp jeera seeds
salt to taste
1pinch ๐ค
๐๐For Seasoning
2-3 tbsp oil
3 finely chopped onions
1 /2 tsp garam masala powder
Handfull of โ Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
๐๐Method
Peel the beetroot and cut it into small cubes. Add salt & while cooking beetroots add one pinch , or 1/2 tsp sugar it’s give nice colour in beetroot cook till softโฆ
๐๐For Grinding
1 cup fresh grated coconut red whole chilli’s, small piece of tamarind , garlic covers , jeera seeds add required water for grinding make it smooth fine paste .
Take a pan add oil once hot add onions saute until onions turn light brown. Now turn to low flame add garam masala.add cooked beetroots cubes add grind coconut masala paste.saute till it oil zoom out . on low flame till the spices are cooked well. mix continuously keeping the flame on low.or till beetroot absorbs the spices.add coriander leaves finally, mix well and serve Beetroot Kurma with Chapathi , Puri ๐ค๐ or Rice โฆ
