


Karathe Kismuri / Bitter Gourd Dry Chutney
💁👇👇Ingredients
3 tbsp oil
1 medium size Bitter gourd
1 finally chopped onion
1 finally chopped green chillies 💁optional
1 cup fresh grated coconut
4 + roasted byadgi red chilli + 2 Guntur red chillies
1tbsp coriander seeds & peanut size piece tamarind
salt to taste
2 pinch turmeric powder
1 tbsp of coriander leaves
💁👇Method
Wash and clean the bitter gourd. Finally chopped them if the seeds or very big discard the seeds. Sprinkle some salt & turmeric powder mix well and allow them to rest for 10 mins after 10 minutes.Squeezed bitter gourd pieces & keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan add bitter gourd pieces & Shallow fry them on low flame till thr turn crunchy and golden brown. remove from Pan and keep aside.
💁Meanwhile grind coconut , coriander seeds, tamarind & roasted red chilli into a coarse masala 💁without adding any water . This masala transfer into a bowl and mix well. 💁when ready to serve .Mix the chopped onions , chopped green chillies and Shallow fried bitter gourd pieces to this bowl as per ur taste adjust salt. Garnish with coriander leaves & serve it immediately.
💁Fried bitter gourd pieces just before serving to avoid the pieces loosing its crunchiness. Serve immediately or else they turn 💁Soggy… Ready to serve Karathe krismuri goes well as side Dish With Hot Rice and Dalitoy..
