Bisi Bele Bhath  Home Made Masala Power

💁A spicy, rice-based dish with origins in the state of Karnataka, India.

The traditional preparation involves the use of  Masala spicy ,dal, rice, ghee and vegetables. Spices like cardamom, maratamugu, asafoetida, curry leaves and tamarind pulp contribute to its unique flavour and taste.

💁👇👇Ingredients

1 cup rice
1/2 cup tur Dal
1/4 cup peanut
1/4 cup green peas

Vegetables 💁

1/4 cup Beans
2 medium size Potato cubes

💁Masala Ingredients

2 tbsp oil
marble size hing
5to 6 cardamom
2 stick cinaman
2 small maratamugu
8-9 clovers
1tbsp pepper
1/4 inches turmeric pice
1-1/2 tbsp zeera
1/4 tbsp methi
3 tbsp coriander seeds
Few curry leaves,
50 gm 👉only use for this recipe bedagi Chilli👈 as per ur spicy this chillies is not that much spicy hot … So adjust for your taste.
one lemon 🍋 size tarmind
1/2 🥥 dry coconut

💁For Seasoning

1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp mustard seed
2 broken red chillies
Few curry leaves
2tbsp Ghee
1/2 cup Khara Boondi 😋👌

💁Method

Take a pan add oil ,marble size hing, cardamom,cinaman, maratamugu, clovers,pepper, turmeric pice, zeera, methi, coriander seeds, curry leaves, 👉 bedagi red chilli 💁as per ur taste only use for this recipe👈 one lemon size tamarind,dry coconut one by one fry all Ingredients. Now in a mixer jar make it fine smooth paste … adding required water.

Take a Bowl add 1/4 cup peanut ,1/4 cup green peas, soaked for 3-4 hours keep aside.

Wash & Peel vegetables beans & Potato cubes keep aside.

In a pressure cook add Veggies , rice along with dal, green peas & Peanuts add required water for rice & vegetables Cook for 3 whistles .When the pressure cooker settles down on its own, remove the lid and add Salt gently mix it well.

In a kadai add 1/4 cup oil, mustard seed, broken red chillies, curry leaves, add prepared Bisibele Masala Paste cook on low flame till oil leave kadai till u get aroma it’s take time nearly 10-12 mins …
💁You can store this Bisi bele
Masala power or Paste..in fridge up to 1 week. If you plan to store this long time make it first power then separate extra power in air tight container. then add remaining masala water to paste..

Now add cooked rice along with dal vegetables, add salt to taste add water boil it until you can get bisibelebath consistency.Ready to Serve Hot Hot Garnish Top with Ghee & Khara Boondi 😋👌
