πŸ’ I made Barley Dosa as per my food group friend, suggested.. Thanks to our very smart & multi-talented πŸ™ Mitha Arun Hegde recipe.Everyone in my family loved it. Thanks for the Barley Dosa recipe dear. It was so simple to do but really tasty. πŸ˜‹

Barley dosas these dosas don’t contain #Rice like regular dosas yet comes out exactly the same in texture and taste. You can never say it has πŸ’ Barley in it.

Crispy or Soft Dosa u r Choice

IngredientsπŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

1 cup Barley
1 /2 cup urad dal
2 tsp methi / fenugreek seeds
salt to taste

Method

firstly, in a large bowl, soak barley , urad dal and methi seeds for atleast 4 hours.drain the water from soaked urad dal & Barley blend to smooth and fluffy batter. adding water required.

collect it into a large bowl add salt and keep aside.mix well making sure the batter has combined completely.also clean the sides with your hand.βœ‹Cover and ferment in a warm place for 8 hours.the next day you can see the batter has raised well indicating its well fermented. mix the batter slightly.

Heat griddle and pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion thin circle.also a little oil over it.
then cover the dosa for a minute and cook till the bottom of dosa turns golden brown.Finally, flip other side fold …. and serve immediately .

Pressure cook 5 to 6 potatoes.. For 3 whistle smashβœ‹ it keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan add mustard. Curry leaves 🌿little chana dal, urad dal chopped 6 to 8 green chillies…saute then add chopped onion.do not fry to long time we need crunchy onion add haldi powder.add little salt now add cooked potatoes smashed it should be in to small pieces add fresh coriander leaves mix it well cover and cook for few more mins.. Ready to serve Potato Bhaji.
