


Hitikida Avarekalu Saaru/Traditional Season.. Fantastic Favorite Lilva Beans… Curry
💁 Many Parts of Karnataka.Use these beans in very many ways including in Avarekalu.. Upma, Roti, Sambar & spicy mixture.. It has a very rich flavour from the avarekalu spices in which the Avarekalu are cooked and tastes absolutely great with rice….
Ingredients
Soak the Avarekalu in 💧water for 2 hours Press each Avarekai gently to take off the outer skin Keep aside.

1/2 kg / 2 Cup peel Avarekalu
4 tbsp Oil
1 cup / 3 finely chopped onions
1/4 tbsp Turmeric Powder
2 Finely Chopped Tomato 🍅
For the Masala👇👇👇
1 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
1/2 tbsp coriander seeds dry roasted
8 to 10 Red Chillies I used a mix of both Chillies 5 +5 Bedagi chillies & Guntur red chillies dry roasted
1 cup fresh grated Coconut
Salt ti taste
make it smooth paste & keep aside.
In a heavy bottomed kadai , heat the oil.Add the onions and sautee till they become translucent.Add tomato Saute for few mins till tomato 🍅 or smashy now add turmeric powder.Now add the Avarekalu cook with onion & tomato for 10 minutes. Add needed 2cup water 💧 When the Avarekalu are just cooked 90 % Add the ground masala Add 1/2 cup water and mix well. Bring the gravy to a low flame for 3 to 5 mins Let the Avarekalu cook with the gravy for few more mins .👉The Avarekai should just be soft and eassyli break. It should not be mushy…👈Turn off the heat. Serve Hot With Hot Hot Rice ,Phulka, or Dosa…. 👌💞😋
