💁Misal Pav One of the most famous of Mumbai Street Food of Usal Sprouts Curry …Misal sprouts topped with onions & 🍟 fried Mixture & 🍋 lemon wedges served with soft soft Pav…This is one of my favorite Bf… Misal Pav can be had as a BF, Snack or as a Brunch too… It’s was a yummy 😋 wholesome meal…

Ingredients

For The Misal Masala paste..
👇👇👇👇
1 tbsp oil
2 or 1/4 cup sliced onions
2 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp zeera seeds
2 cloves laung
Small Amla size tamarind
1/4 tbsp peppercorns
1 inch stick cinnamon
6 to 8 whole red chillies
6 garlic cloves
👉Only 3 tbsp fresh grated coconut

For The Misal Seasoning

3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 finely chopped onions
2 finely chopped tomatoes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup sprouted matki
1/4 cup green peas +
👉1/4 cup green gram
1/4 cup Channa
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp sugar optional

For Serving With Misal Pav

1/2 cup mixed mixture /Sev Mix chopped onions, chopped coriander , 2 pack pav, few lemon wedges

Method👇👇👇

For the misal masala

In a pan, add 1 tbsp all masala ingredients one by one roast on a medium flame nicely when it’s cool make smooth paste… Add some needed 💧 water & keep aside.

Wash the all Misal mixed sprouts and then soak for 5 to 6 hours.Drain the water and transfer the soaked sprout in a cloth tie it nicely for sprouting.Keep in a warm place for 1 day. Next day Transfer the sprouts in a pressure cooker once wash the sprouts… Now along with salt and cups of 💧 water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.whem its cool open it.

Heat oil in a deep pan. add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them crackle.Now add onions and fry until onion turns slightly golden brown.add add tomato and cook till soft & smasy add turmeripowder, at this stage and add prepared masala paste and cook for 5 to 6 mins. 👉When oil zoom out from the masala👈 now add the cooked sprouts and along with the water they were cooked in Pressure cooker …Now add little more water 💧 if you feel required add salt..& sugar optional Boil it nicely for 10 to 15 mins.add fresh coriander leaves and mix well. Ready to Serve Assembling misal Pav Top the Misal in a bowl 🍚 with some onion, sev mix, chiwda, coriander and Serve with pav aru Bread 🍞 and some 🍋 lemon wedge. Totally mind fresh Bf… Yummy 😋
