



πππΌββοΈMasala Appo / Paddu /Guliyappa With Coconut ChunteyI prepared appo with the same batter for dosa and used less oil. It came out well, so if you want to make appo with less oil, you can use appo batter ..to dosa ππππΌββοΈIngredientsππππππ3 cups Dosa rice1 cup urad dal2 tsp methi / fenugreek seeds1/2 cup Bhel / Puffed rice / Mandakisalt to tasteMethodfirstly, in a large bowl, soak 3 cups of rice & 1 cup urad dal and methi seeds for atleast 4 hours.drain the water from soaked urad dal & rice blend to smooth and fluffy batter. along with Bhel adding water required.collect it into a large bowl add salt and keep aside.mix well making sure the batter has combined completely.also clean the sides with your hand.βCover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours.the next day you can see the batter has raised well indicating its well fermented. mix the batter slightly.ππ Take required batter in a different bowl.ππFinely chop onion, grated carrot, fresh chopped coconut pieces, green chilli 1/4 cup soaked chana dal, 1/2 cup dil leaves ,coriander leaves and curry leaves.mix it well now slowly pour the batter into each of the moulds with the help of larges spoon.reduce the heat to medium and cook for 3 to 5 mins with a closed lid.once the batter gets cooked from bottom, slowly with the help of spoon flip it over and cook other side.Yummy Crispy Paddu / Appo is readyβ¦.to serve with ur choice of Chunty or Sambar β¦π€ππ
