Mangalore Cucumber Sweet Dosa / Magge Surnali With Fresh Ghee Lovely Combination With butter ๐Ÿงˆ Too

๐Ÿ’Ingredients
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

2 -1/2 cup dosa rice
1 cup Mangalore cucumber pieces
1/2 fresh ๐Ÿฅฅ coconut
1 small cup Bhel / puffed rice..
One pinch turmeric power
jaggery as per ur taste u can adjust
Salt to taste

๐Ÿ’Method

firstly, in a large bowl, soak dosa rice for atleast 4 hours. Drain the water from soaked rice.

In a mixer jar first grind ๐Ÿฅฅ coconut & skin peeled roughly chopped cucumber pieces , turmeric make it smooth paste.

Than add soaked rice & bhel ๐Ÿ’as per u r sweet add jaggery blend to smooth and fluffy batter. ๐Ÿ’if needed add water ๐Ÿ’งto make Dosa consistency batter.

collect it into a large bowl ๐Ÿฅฃ add salt to taste and mix well making sure the batter has combined completely. Also clean the sides with yourโœ‹ hand.

Cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours over night . ๐Ÿ’Nicely fermentation is must ๐Ÿ’needed otherwise dosa get ๐Ÿชจ hard. The next day you can see ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘๏ธ the batter has raised ๐ŸŒ„ well indicating its well fermented. mix the batter slightly.

Take a tava heat now pour a ladleful of the batter spread medium thick ๐Ÿ’Don’t make very๐Ÿ’ thin dosa. top with a tbsp of oil or ghee cover and cook for a 3 mins or until the base is cooked well.
