There are a variety of colocasia leaves. This particular colocasia variety below is perfect for using in this side dish.They are only found during monsoons.
💁Ingredients
Sprouting, tender colocasia leaves perfect to go into this curry 💁2 cup nearly 40 knots Tera panna / Alva Panna
10-15 crusted Jack fruit seeds
1 cup black Chana
1 cup fresh grated 🥥 coconut
5 Guntur red chilllies + 8 Byadgi red chillies.
Lemon 🍋 size tamarind
Salt to taste
💁For seasoning
4 tbsp oil
1 big whole Crushed garlic
💁Method
Alva Panna Ganti in the picture below colocasia leaves knots .
Wash tera paan, dry them with cloth. Then make 👉knots / from leaves and keep aside.
Crush jack fruit seeds and remove skin and keep aside… & 1 cup Black chana.. Cook all this with 2 cup of water 💧 In pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles.
Grind grated 🥥 coconut, red chillies and tamarind into smooth fine paste.
Add this paste to cooked chana, Tera pan knots and jackfruit mix.add salt to taste Boil for 5-6mins… Give nice boil.
Now Seasoning Heat oil in a small pan add crushed garlic fry it nicely till brown add to boiling curry . Switch off gas. Ready to Serve .Tera Pan Ganti Curry is Ready To Eat.Serve hot as a Side Dish, With a Bowl of Steaming Hot Rice And Lovely Combination with Dalithoy.
