




Halasinakayi Happala / Jackfruit Papad With Hot Hot Coffee ☕ Lovely Combination
💁Ingredients
1 big size full of Raw Jackfruits
3 tbsp black / white Sesame seeds
2 trbsp cumin seeds
5 – 7 tbsp of red chilies flakes
Salt to taste
Little Oil for applying while makeing papad
💁The above mentioned ingredients will serve around 180 Happalas.
Apply little oil on your ✋ hands and cut the whole raw jackfruit into two halves. Take each piece and cut it into two halves .
Remove the inner part of the jackfruit as shown in the picture.Remove the seeds and other unwanted things from each jackfruit.
Now jackfruit place them in a traditional steamer or pressure cooker. and steam cook for about ⌚20 mins.
Grind the cooked jackfruit 💁By without adding any water 💦 or 💁here I m used Smash using a pestle jackfruit into smooth paste & roughly too 👈 Add salt & sesame seeds ,cumin seeds & red chilies flakes mix them well.
Apply little oil on your hands ✋ and make lemon 🍋 sized balls from the prepared dough as shown in the picture.
Apply little oil over the two plastic sheets and place the prepared jackfruit paste ball in between plastic sheet.💁 Give a little pressure while pressing.👈
Remove one plastic sheet, place the happala upside down over another big plastic sheet
☀ Sun dry the Happalas for about 3 – 5 days. Store them in an airtight container.
Frying it in oil. Serve along with Coffee ☕
