


Banana Stem… Pachadi / Raita
Banana stem 🍌 is a tasty raita made with banana stem. A quick and easy… Serve along with Rice and dal. Banana Stem Raita is a healthy side dish with the Shallow fry Banana Stem added raw onion to the curd and seasoned with mustard seeds. The banana stem is rich is fiber and nutrients and when combined with yogurt is great for stomach ailments💁ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿದೆ..
💁Ingredients are
👉with outer thick hard skin removed👈1 cup finally chopped Banana Stem , cut into small dices
1/2 cup fresh grated Coconut
2 cups Curd whisked
1/2 inch ginger
As per u r spicy add 5 Green Chillies
1tbsp or pinch sugar
salt to taste
1 finally chopped onions
💁For Masala Paste
Take a small mixer jar , grind 🥥 coconut, ginger, green chillies, & salt to taste…make it to a fine paste like a chutney.
💁For seasoning
2 -3 tbsp Oil
1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds
1/4 tbsp Urad Dal
1/4 tbsp Chana dal
1 sprig Curry leaves
2 Dry broken red chillies
💁Method
Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil add chopped banana stem fry it few minutes.stem pieces 👉no need to add water will turn crunchy & mushy. Switch of the flame…. Keep aside when it’s completely cool transfer banana stem to the bowl.
Now add masala paste , whisked curd & raw chopped onions …💁Do not boli this after add masala & curd 👈the pachadi now mix well.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a small pan add mustard seeds and urad dal , chana dal. Allow the seeds to crackle and saute till the dal turns brown. Once done add red chillies and curry leaves and stir for a few mins.add the seasiong mix well plantain stem pachadi / salad is ready to serve. As a side 😋dish.
