Simple Lunch Chilled  Mosaranna /Curd Rice With  Home Made Potato Papad , Garlic Vodi  & Sun Dried Chillies In Curd Majjige Menasu

💁Ingredients

1cup  Rice
1cup Curd
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
6-8 cashew nuts
Few Curry Leaves
1 tsp Urad Dal
1/2 tsp chana dal
2 chopped onions
2 Dry Red Chilli Broken
2-3 chopped green chillies
Handfull ✊ of Fresh Coriander Chopped
2-3  tbsp Pomegranate Seeds

💁Method

1cup Cooked Rice should be mushy. Bring the rice to room temperature.Add curd,  and salt and mix well.Slightly mash the rice using using your hands. ✋

Heat oil in a pan.Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cashew nuts,curry leaves and let them crackle for a few seconds.
Add urad dal, Chana dal and dry red chillies,green chillies,and fry until dal turns slightly brown.Pour the tempering over curd rice and chopped onions & Pomegranate mix well.

Garnish with fresh coriander and pomegranate seeds . Serve chilled.

💁Batate Happolu / Potato Papad Get Ready To Deep fry  Potato Papa’s

💁Ingredients

1kg Potato 
1 kg  / 4  pav White  soaked rice 
Red chillies as per u r spicy
3 peanut size Hing 
Salt to taste

💁Method

Soak the rice for three hours , Then wash and grind along with the chillies to a fine batter of  dosa consistency . Add the salt too and mix well .

Heat a steaming & keep the batter in it ..

Steam for about 20 minutes .

Pressure cook the potatoes for 3 whistles . Peel them when a little cooler . Now  we need a  coconut Grating / or shevai press maker

Add the potato pieces and press to get a smooth potato mash .

Add the potato mash to the rice batter..Mix well and add salt if required …knead the dough and make small balls of it . Now apply oil on a plastic sheet and keep in a  papad maker.Keep the ball in between and using the presser make a flat disc Remove it to a large sheet  which you will be using to dry all the happolu / papad.

Make it  remains same process happolus on the sheet a 💁little gap from each other.

Keep under the sun until they  turned dry minimum 3 days.

Let cool first before you stock them in an air tight container . Take the required quantity as & when needed and deep fry to enjoy this crisp crisp batate happolu 💁Deep fry  Potato Papa’s /Batate Happolu ..As a Side Dish With Curd Rice /or Dal /Tea Time Snack…
