Tyson Chicken Gassi Mangalorean Style Curry With Kori Rotti & Chicken Kabab

Tyson Kori Gassi /Mangalorean Style Chicken 🐣 Curry is ready. Its traditionally served with 👉 Kori Rotti or Neer Dosa.

👉Ingredients For Tyson Kori Gassi Masala Paste

1 tbsp oil
3 onions
8 cloves Garlic
1 inch Ginger
10 Byadagi Chillies +5 Guntur red chillies
1/4 tbsp Fenugreek seeds
3/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Black pepper corn
2 tbsp Coriander seeds
1/2 tbsp fennel seeds saunf

💁Curry Tempering

2 tbsp Ghee +1 tbsp oil
2 stick Cinnamon
2 Cloves
2 sprigs Curry leaves
1kg Tyson  Chicken 🐔🍗 with bone
Rock salt to taste
1/2 tbsp Turmeric
Lemon 🍋 size Tamarind soaked in 1/2 cup of hot water
Coriander leaves
Coconut Milk  🥥
1 Cup First pressed milk
👉1st Thick coconut 🥥 milk
2 Cups Second pressed coconut 🥥 milk💁

💁Method

For Tyson Kori Gassi Masala Paste. Heat  oil in a pan and saute onions , Ginger & garlic for 3-4 mins on medium flame  Remove from pan and set aside. Add in the Byadagi chillies & guntur red chillies in the same pan and roast for 30 secs. Once the chilli is roasted, set aside. In the same pan, add few drops of  oil  and add in the dry spices  fenugreek seeds 💁don’t add too much, else the curry will become bitte, cumin seeds, fennel seeds /saunf,coriander seeds and black pepper corns. Roast for a minute until fragrant. Set aside to cool.Grind the onion mixture, chillies and the roasted spices with a cup of water to a very smooth paste.

Take a pressure cooker. Heat ghee  add the cinnamon, cloves and the curry leaves. Let the curry leaves splutter. Add the chicken pieces. Add in the rock salt to taste, the ground masala paste and the turmeric. Soak tamarind in hot water for 5 mins and squeeze  to make tamarind pulp. . Add in the tamarind pulp and the 2nd  second pressed coconut 🥥milk.Cover the cooker pan with a lid and cook for 4-5  whistles, approximately 10 minutes on low medium flame. Once all the whistles are done, switch off the flame and wait for the pressure in the cooker to release naturally.

💁Keep the cooker back on heat and let it come to a boil on low flame.add coriander leaves Check for seasoning. Add salt if necessary.

💁Add in the 1st  first pressed 🥥 coconut milk and give it one boil than switch off the flame.
