A Healthy Breakfast Semiya Upma / Vermicelli Semiya

šŸ’Ingredient

3 tbsp oil
2 cup Vermicelli Semiyal
1 tbsp mustard
1/2 tbsp urad dal
1 tbsp chana dal
1/4 cumin seeds
few curry leaves
1/4 cup cooked green peas
4-6Ā  green chilli slit
2Ā  onion šŸ§… finely chopped
1 chopped tomatoĀ šŸ…
1 medium chopped šŸ„• carrot. & 1/4 chopped beans
½ tsp salt
tsp turmeric / haldi
1/2 tbspĀ  lemon
2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
1/4  cup Fresh coconut  🄄
1/2 tbsp / One pinch sugar

šŸ’Method

In a heavy bottom vessel add oil  fry Vermicelli Semiya till golden brown  keep aside.

Firstly, in a kadai heatĀ  oil and splutter mustard,urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds and few curry leaves now add green chilliĀ  saute well further, addĀ  onions , beans ,carrot šŸ„•šŸ… tomato, and saute slightly.saute for a minute.add turmeric andĀ  salt to taste & sugar.Ā  saute for a minute than addĀ  water for 2 cup Vermicelli Semiya 4 cups of waterĀ .BringĀ  it nice boilĀ  than add fry Vermicelli Semiya and mix gently. do not over mix as semiya will šŸ’get mashed.

Now add coriander leaves lemon juice & fresh 🄄 coconut. mix well. finally, serve Vermicelli
semiya Upma withĀ  Cup ofĀ  Hot Masala Chai for Morning bf.
