


Hot and Spicy 🍄 Mushroom Biryani Served With Cucumber Onion Raita
💁Ingredients For Biryani
200 grams of Mushroom
2 cup of rice 💁 🌾 I used jeera rice
3-1/2 cups boiling water
2 Oil+2 Ghee
Pulao leaf
1 Cinnamon
3-4 Cloves
2 Cardamom
1Star Anise
1/4 tbsp Shah jeera
1/2 tbsp fennel / saunf
seeds
1/4 peppercorns & few cashew nuts
1/2 tbsp Kasuri methi
3 medium sized onion sliced thinly
2 medium sized tomato
1/2 tbsp garam masala powder
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
1/4 cup Curd
Salt to taste
1 pinch 🤏 sugar
To make a Paste Masala you Need 👇
10-12 garlic pods
2 inches ginger
6-8 green chillies
A Small bunch of coriander leaves and pudina leaves each or 1/4 cup & little bit salt 💁Grind the above ingredients.
💁Method Mushroom Biryani Recipe in a Pressure Cooker
Clean and cut the mushrooms into 2 or 4 pieces each.
💁Grind Green Masala Paste
coriander leaves,pudina leaves, ginger, garlic and chilli together without using water.
Wash and soak zeera rice in water for before 10mins.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add whole spices. Saute and few cashew nuts add chopped onions and saute until they turn soft.add green Masala and fry until raw smell goes off .Add chopped tomato, garam masala powder, turmeric powder ,Kasuri methi and salt and Sugar mix well.
Drain water from the jeera rice and add rice into the cooker,fry for 5 mins . Add hot water and stir and give it a nice boil. And close the lid . Pressure cook for 2 whistles.Once the steam is released open the lid add 1 tbsp ghee and mix gently with a fork.
Hot and Spicy Mushroom Biryani ready to serve with raita.
