

Bottle Gourd Stir Fry /Lauki /Garduddi

💁 Sorekayi palya is prepared using bottle gourd, coconut, red chili bottle gourd subji goes very well with rice or chapathi. Sorekai is very good for health. It has been regarded as one of the healthiest vegetables.
💁Ingredients For Tempering
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp Chana dal
1sprigs curry leaves
2 medium size chopped onions
1/2 kg bottle gourd
1/4 tsp turmeric power
salt to taste
For Ground masala Paste
1/4 freshly grated 🥥 coconut
1 /2 tsp cumin seeds
4-5 garlic cloves garlic 🧄
1/2 Inch Ginger
2 Byadgi red chillies +2 Guntur chillies
🤏Small pieces of jaggery
Salt to taste
💁Method
Wash n peel of d skin of bottlegourd and cut into medium strips.
In a mixie jar add grated coconut along with cumin seeds, 🧄garlic, Ginger 2 Byadgi red chillies +2 Guntur chillies, small pieces of jaggery & salt to taste 💁Don’t grind it fine .It should remain be 🤌coarsely crushed paste.
Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds when splutter add Chana dal, urad dal,curry leaves, onions saute for few mins .. add bottle gourd & turmeric saute on low flame for 8-10 mins close the lid and cook it. add coarse masala paste mix all very well.
💁Do not add water.the bottle gourd releases its 💁moisture and that is sufficient enough to get the veggie cooked in this way it doesn’t get stick to the bottom or burnt. And finally garnish it with coriander leaves.
Ready to Serve…This Bottle Gourd Stir Fry /Lauki /Garduddi flavorful Bhaji / Palya With Chapati or Dal 🍚 Rice.
