Mangalore Style Sardine Fish Curry /Pedavo /Buthai Meen Saaru 🐠 With Egg 🥚Tava Fry

💁Ingredients For Masala

5-6 Bedagi red chillies (roasted) & 5 gunturu small red chillies
2 tsp corainder seeds(roasted)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (roasted)
1 tsp black pepper (roasted)
1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds (roasted)
1/4 tsp ajwain( roasted )
Small piece turmeric (roasted)
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds ( roasted)
1 big chopped onion raw
👉2 to 3 tbsp little fresh coconut👈
4 – 5 cloves garlic
1 big lemon size tamarind

Other ingredients

3 green chillies slits & few curry leaves
1 1/2 inch ginger
Half bunch coriander leaves
salt to taste
2 tsp oil
1/2 kg sardine l fish 🐟🐟

Method

Put all the above ingredients dry roaste when it’s cool now add.. into the mixer jar ,add water and grind ,the paste should be very fine.

Cut Buthai/Sardine fish🐟🐟 to 2 pieces, if its a big fish cut to 3 pieces….here I used small one .

Now pour the ground masala paste on the pan…Add 1 cups of water 👉less water if you want a thicker gravy👈add 2 tsp oil chopped ginger long slit, green chillies, coriander leaves ..Keep the vessel on medium flame and cover and cook, when the gravy comes 3 – 4 nicely boil add curry leaves… Than add fish 🐟🐟

👉Try not to use spoon to mix the fish masala. After adding fish🐟🐟 give it just one boil in low flame…5 mins..turn off the gas Ready To Serve With Hot Hot Rice.😋😋
