Evening Snacks  Chana Dal Ambode Vada With Hot Hot Coffee☕😋 Lovely Combination

Today I m Sharing one of my favourite  Chana Dal Vada. …It is called as “Ambode / Vada

💁Ingredients

To grind

1 cup Bengal Gram / Chana Dal
6 – 8 Green Chillies as per ur spicy
1 inch Ginger piece
to taste Salt

💁Others Ingredients

 2 Chopped onion
1 bunch Finally choppedDil leaves
Handfull ✊ of chopped coriander  leaves 
Few Curry Leaves
2 tbsp coconut pieces

💁Method

To grind batter

Soak  chana dal  for 1- 1/2 ⏰hours. Drain the excess water from the dal and keep aside.

In a mixer  grind half the quantity of soaked bengal gram / Chana Dal , ginger & green chillies grind ingredients to a 💁coarse paste👈Do not add water. The moisture in the lentils would be sufficient👉to this paste,add the remaining soaked lentils and just 💁pulse the mixer a few times. Make sure to not grind it to paste.You should be able to see 👀👁️ a few whole lentils as is. That is the texture we want for a crispy Ambode..Transfer it into a wide bowl.add chopped Dil leaves.💁opinion onion Now add chopped  few green chillies, coconut pieces, Coriander leaves, few curry leave and  Mix well .Taste it & Adjust salt n spice level…

To make vadas patties
Place oil in a kadai  on medium high flame.

Take a lemon 🍋size ball of the mixture and pat them onto the greased palm of your left hand ✋ and shape them ..

When the oil is hot .At a time you can leave  5-6 vadas depending on the size of your kadai . 💁 Do not overcrowd them.

Cook it on a medium heat until golden brown on both the sides.Drain it on a tissue paper .Ready to Serve the Masala  Chana Dal Vada hot  hot with some 🍅 Tomato Sauce ..
