Healthy Traditional Food 💁Steam Rice Ball Dumpling Hot Hot Gatti / Pundi /Akki Kadubu & Methi / Menthya Chutney /Fenugreek Seeds Chutney

💁👇Ingredients

2 Cup Dosa Rice
3/4 -1 Cup fresh grated Coconut 🥥
Salt to taste
1/2 tbsp sugar
3- 4 cup of water 💦

💁👇Method

Wash the rice and soak it in 2 cups water for about 2-3 hours.

Drain all the water from the rice and grind to a coarse paste. Do not make it 💁very smooth paste. add 2 cups water and mix well.Add the fresh grated coconut , salt to taste and sugar . Mix well and set aside.

Making the Undi Dough
In a large pan, over medium flame, heat 1 cup of water. Turn the heat down to low and add the rice flour & coconut 🥥 batter and mix well.Over low flame, keep mixing till the 💁dough starts to form a 🤗ball.Take off the heat and transfer to a plate.Cover and set aside for a few minutes.

Making the Pundi

Add water to a steamer/pressure cooker and let it start boiling.

Divide the dough into 16 to 20 equal portions.Grease your palms with water 🤲and roll each portion into a ball.When all pundi are ready, steam them for 10 -15 Ready to Serve Hot Hot pundi With Methi Chutney .

💁🤗For Menthya Chutney / Fenugreek Seeds Chutney

💁👇Ingredients

1/4 tbsp oil
3 Byadgi + 1 Guntur dry red chillies
Peanut size Tamarind
1/4 tbsp Methi seeds
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
3 tbsp Roasted Gram Splits /Hurigadale
A pinch 🤏Hing
🤏Small piece of jaggery
1 cup grated coconut
salt to taste
water 💦to grind the chutney

💁👇Other Ingredients For Seasoning

1 tbsp Oil
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
Few curry leaves
1 broken red chillies

💁👇Method

Heat oil in a pan add dry red chillies & saute keep aside..add hing , methi and cumin seeds saute it..keep aside .

when its cool grind fresh coconut 🥥hurigadale & all the roasted ingredients along with tamarind & jaggery to a smooth paste.Now add water as required to dilute chutney as ur choice. Thick , thin or runny consistency .

In a small seasoning pan add oil , mustard seeds, curry leaves & broken dry red chilli. Switch Off the flame..Transfer this thadka into chunety bowl mix well.

Ready to Serve Methi Chutney With Hot Hot Pundi… Akki Kadubu & Menthya Chutney /Fenugreek Seeds Chutney..😋🤗
