💁Ingredients
2 cup Thin Rice flakes 💁paper avalakki
1 cup Freshly grated coconut 🥥
1 tbsp mustard seeds
1tbsp coriander seeds
1 tbsp zeera
1 tbsp urad dal
Curry leaves
3 to 4 Whole red chillies
Salt to taste
1tbsp sugar to taste
1/4 tbsp Turmeric powder
1 pinch Asafoetida / hing power
For tempering
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a tadka pan, when it is hot add mustard allow it to sizzle add coriander seeds, zeera, urad dal, broken red chillies, turmeric ,hing, curry leaves remove from the flame, add salt & sugar fresh grated coconut allow it to cool.
Add prepared tempering to flatten thin rice flakes in to it, mix well with your hand ✋properly until the mixture is coated with the flattened rice properly .Toss it once again, avalakki absorbs the flavors of spices, becomes soft, rest it for 5 min before you serve. Add sugar to adjust to you taste, ready to serve.

💁Chana Usli
ingredients
1 cup cooked Chana
3 tbsp Oil
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
2 – 4 Green chilly Chopped
2 sprig Curry leaves
3 Onions
Salt to taste
1/2 cup grated coconut 🥥
💁Method
Soak the chana in warm water through the night.Pressure cook the soaked chana until done.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilly and let it crackle. Add chopped Onions, Saute for few minutes. Add cooked chana and salt mix well. Cover & cook for about 4 -5 min. Add grated fresh coconut mix it well.Garnish with Chopped coriander leaves .Serve hot.
