


Cucumber Idli / Tousali / Steamed Rice Cake
Ingredients

2 grated Cucumber ๐ฅ
2 -1/2 cup Rice Rava
1 cup Fresh coconut
1 tbsp Ghee/oil
1 Inch ginger
5-6 green chillies
Handfull โ of chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
How to make konkani style Tousali /Cucumber Steamed Cake
Add coconut in a mixer jar along with green chillies and Ginger make it coarse paste.
๐ not too smooth paste. and transfer the coconut masala Paste to a mixing bowl. Add rice Rava, grated cucumber salt & chopped coriander leaves to the batter, mix well. soak the mixture for 1 hour.
Add the batter on a greased dhokla plateโฆor / idli mould steam the batter in the idli steamer for about 10 – 15 mins and serve.
Ready to Serve Cucumber Tousali Steamed Cake along with fresh Home made ghee or Coconut Chutneyโฆ๐๐
