


Onion Uttapam With Coconut ๐ฅฅ Chutney
Ingredients๐๐๐๐๐๐
3 cups Dosa rice
1 cup urad dal
1tbsp methi / fenugreek seeds
1/2 cup Bhel / Puffed rice / Mandaki
salt to taste
๐๐Method
Firstly, in a large bowl, soak 3 cups of rice & 1 cup urad dal and methi seeds for atleast 4 hours.drain the water from soaked urad dal & rice blend to smooth and fluffy batter. along with Bhel adding water required.
collect it into a large bowl add salt and keep aside.mix well making sure the batter has combined completely.also clean the sides with your hand.โ
Cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours.the next day you can see the batter has raised well indicating its well fermented. mix the batter slightly.
๐๐For Topping Uttapam
2 Onion finely chopped
2 Green chillies finely chopped
2tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
2tbsp Curry leaves finely chopped
Salt to taste
๐๐Method
Mix all chopped ingredients and add salt just ๐ before making dosa.
Heat dosa tawa just spread ๐11/2 ladle full of dosa batter ,put some๐Toppings ,drizzle ghee or oil on the sides ,cook dosa on medium flame.flip the dosa and cook both the sides. Ready to Serve With Chutney or Sambhar.
