Onion Uttapam With Coconut ๐Ÿฅฅ Chutney

Ingredients๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

3 cups Dosa rice
1 cup urad dal
1tbsp methi / fenugreek seeds
1/2 cup Bhel / Puffed rice / Mandaki
salt to taste

Firstly, in a large bowl, soak 3 cups of rice & 1 cup urad dal and methi seeds for atleast 4 hours.drain the water from soaked urad dal & rice blend to smooth and fluffy batter. along with Bhel adding water required.

collect it into a large bowl add salt and keep aside.mix well making sure the batter has combined completely.also clean the sides with your hand.โœ‹
Cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours.the next day you can see the batter has raised well indicating its well fermented. mix the batter slightly.

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘‡For Topping Uttapam

2 Onion finely chopped
2 Green chillies finely chopped
2tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
2tbsp Curry leaves finely chopped
Salt to taste

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘‡Method

Mix all chopped ingredients and add salt just ๐Ÿ’ before making dosa.

Heat dosa tawa just spread ๐Ÿ’11/2 ladle full of dosa batter ,put some๐Ÿ’Toppings ,drizzle ghee or oil on the sides ,cook dosa on medium flame.flip the dosa and cook both the sides. Ready to Serve With Chutney or Sambhar.
